God’s Path

Proverbs 25:9-10, Psalms 32:8, 33:11, Jeremiah 29:11, Philippians 2:5, John 10:14-15

All the ways of the Lord are compassionate, care, and love.  If we consider going down a path that is not of mercy and love we have chosen a path this is our own and not of the Lord.  In one’s responses and behavior, the believer is to demonstrate the character of the Lord.  It is espescially evident that He was compassionate toward those in need.  He took time to listen to their cries, meet physical and emotional needs, heal the ill and give sight to the blind.  So, if we are to be Christ-like we must be on the right path each step of the day.  Today it is important that believers reach out to:

  • The needy

  • The poor

  • The physically ill

  • Those in need of spiritual guidance, wisdom, and understanding

The believer must stay on the right path to be the hand of Jesus to a needy world, especially in this time.

Prayer: Forgive me Lord for being so self-centered that I did not see or reach out to meet the needs as You could have me do.  Guide and give me wisdom, discernment, and guidance to do Your will today.
