Praise the Lord

Psalms 119:164, 150:6, Isaiah 25:1, Acts 2:46-47, 16;25, Colossians 3:16, Philippians 4:8, James 1:17

A person has the time each day to do what they really want to do. We may not get everything done that we wish, but we do what we desire the most.  Of course, there is work to do, places one must go, and people we need to contact each day.  However, it is vitally important that the believer praises the Lord and gives Him thanks for all His gifts received each day.  Praise to the Lord for His provisions, guidance, wisdom, protection, presence and much more should be on the believer’s mind and lips. The Psalmist tells us in Psalms 119:164 that he “praises the Lord seven times a day.”  It would be good to divide our day into seven parts and praise the Lord throughout each day drawing one’s attention to Him.

Prayer: I do praise You Lord for the gift of salvation, another day, and all the blessings You have showered on my life.
