The Key for Today
Psalms 90:12, Colossians 4:5, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, James 4:14, Ephesians 5:15, Proverbs 6:11, Isaiah 40:31
Each day comes and goes very quickly and time moves on. In the scriptures, we are reminded often to “wait on the Lord” and “do His will”. So, the believer must be wise and careful not to get caught up in their plans, only do what they desire, and ignore the ways of the Lord. It is imperative for believers to make each day really count. As has been stated by Dr. Francis Gibbs in his book, The Glory of Aging, “Each day as our outward man ages we will fix our attention, not on the visible, but on the invisible, that our inward man will grow more like Jesus and we will tactfully do what we have opportunity to do for the greatest eternal impact in the lives of others.” So, it would be wise to take a few minutes now and consider the people that you influence the most and pray for God’s plan to impact them today.
Prayer: Lord, give me direction to be a useable vessel in Your hand today to impact many to follow Your Word.
