Get At It

Ecclesiastes 9:10, I Peter 2:15, Romans 12:2, Proverbs 3:5-6, Jeremiah 29:11

One of the problem characteristics of people is to put off what needs to be done until later or procrastination as it is known. This is easy to do as one sets aside the hard task until later. Someone has said, “the hill doesn’t get smaller if one puts off climbing until later.” So, we should:

  • Pray for wisdom - Jam. 1:5

  • Obey the Word and leading of the Lord - I Sam. 15:22

  • Do what is before us - Col. 3:23

  • Be a light in this dark world to the presence of God - Mt. 5:16

So, whatever is before us today we need to tackle it in the power and wisdom of God ( Psalms 20:7). Yes, we all have mountains to climb, but in the power of God and obedience to His word we can have victory.

Prayer: God, I trust in Your wisdom, strength, and provisions to do this day all that is before me.
