Be Faithful With The Gift

Ecclesiastes 9:10, Colossians 3:23, Ephesians 4:28 Psalms 90:17, Proverbs 12:11, 14:23, Romans 8:28-35

Human response is to look and wait for an easier way to do things. However, God would have us be hard-working, faithful, diligent, and steadfast as He blesses and uses the believer who is carrying out His will today in all things. Ray Pritchard wrote, “the will of God always begins with the ordinary.” So, rather than spending a great deal of time searching for the will and way of God, one should do what is before them at the moment. People often look for God’s will when He has given them life, a new day, responsibilities, a clear-thinking mind, health, funds, and much more. The gift of another day (James 1:17) spreads out before you now, so trust God to lead and do what He has set before you now in obedience to Him, and as the scripture says, “be happy in the Lord.”

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to see Your assignments for this day and guide me so that I do not get caught in the trap of waiting for another day and time. Guide me to be faithful now.
