Invest Time Waiting Daily

Each person has the same amount of time to do what they believe is important. It is true that one must do their job, care for family and personal needs, and other items that slip into one’s daily challenges.  However, it is vitally important that the obedient believer invests time each day to “wait on the Lord” for praise to Him, guidelines, instructions, wisdom, and knowledge of our God and His way for each day.  It is vitally important that each believer invests time to:

  • Wait for the Lord and praise Him for the many blessings of life

  • Allow God to bring His ways to one’s heart and mind

  • Set the mind on His ways

Andrew Murray, the great prayer warrior of the Lord, said that waiting on the Lord, “is the secret of a life of prayer.”  One must be careful in this day of hurry that they take time to wait on the Lord.

Prayer: Lord, I do wait now in Your presence for examination, guidance, and wisdom for this day.
