Investing Time Wisely

Psalms 90:12, 92:13-14, Colossians 4:5, Ephesians 5:15-16, James 1:17, 4:13-15

Time is ours each day to invest or waste. Time cannot be given back when wasted. Each day one must decide how they will invest, use or waste their time as we are given the gift (Jam. 1:17) of another day and we must be careful how we use this gift.  The scriptures remind us that:

  • Time is short

  • Time goes quickly

  • Time is vitally important

  • Time can be wasted

  • Time can be used effectively

  • Each believer will give an account to God of how they invested or used their time.

  • Time/life cannot be lived a second time

So, today is vitally important to the child of God that they live each moment in obedience to His Word.

Prayer: God, help me to see the value of each moment that You have given me today and to invest each moment in Your will to honor Your name and be a blessing to others.
