Food Service Manager

Job Description:

Provide oversight and leadership to the food service of Mt. Lou San Bible Camp - prepare meals, order food, control inventory, maintain kitchen, oversee kitchen staff, develop menus.

  2. Be in agreement with the Statement of Faith of Encounter Revival Ministries

  3. Willing to raise personal support to meet financial needs while employed with the ministry

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare all meals related to events hosted at the camp

  2. Oversee the meals for the staff and team of Encounter Revival Ministries

  3. Order and/or shop for food to maintain inventory

  4. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen according to the standards of the PA Department of Health

  5. Organize and lead people who will assist with food preparation and clean-up

  6. Develop menus for meals related to events groups and/or staff

Desired Goals and Outcomes:

  1. Delicious and nutritious meals served at the scheduled times in a cost-efficient manner

  2. A clean, neat, and organized kitchen at all times

  3. Effective management and ministry to staff members, especially those working in food service

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Work experience in food service industry

  2. A passion for hospitality and serving others

  3. Mature in conduct - strong communicator - creative problem solver - service minded

Accountability:

In addition to being accountable to God and the ERM Board of Directors, the Food Service Manager is specifically accountable to the Camp Director for ministry performance.
